Thank you for sharing your journey in surrendering to God's Will. Your transparency helps us realize that we are all in the same boat. We all want to hear His Voice, and we are all waiting for a miracle. Thank you for helping us on our journeys as you continue to share yours.
Your post is such a blessing. God always wants what’s best for us. Trusting Him can be so hard but brings so much peace. Prayers for your new adventure.
This is Beautiful. Your journey with the Lord is a Blessing , a gift for all of us who know you, to learn, to share and to grow in The Lord. I would be honored to journey with you. God has us together for a reason. Thank you for sharing this beautiful journey. I’m thrilled to become part of it.
Great post! It reads like it has been written especially for me. Because I, too, do not hear words when God speaks to me. I just keep doing what in my heart appears to be His will at any given moment. I guess He derives great satisfaction in seeing that we are willing to do His will more than we are desirous to hear His voice.
It's great to "see" you here, Romeo! I love that point -- I think he does derive great satisfaction in our faith and desire to do His Will and not just be comforted by the feeling of his presence or consolation in prayer.
Praying for you Joan! I think some of the Saints didn't always know if they were hearing God correctly but they did trust that because they loved God he would work all their decisions for the good. May God Bless you abundantly in this new journey. Can't wait to see what He does with your amazing gifts!
Joan, this is beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing.
I can so relate, especially to this part:
"I was always jealous of people who seemed so sure when the Lord was speaking. I wanted to hear his voice. I wanted that clarity and confidence. How do you know it is the Lord speaking? Are you simply saying that so no one can argue with your decision or conclusion?"
Thank you for being such a great example of a reasonable and faithful Catholic woman. God bless you and your ministry!
Thank you, Mandi! I knew that others would share this same struggle, which is why I wanted to share it. Thank you for your continued faithfulness in our work! : )
